Video Wall & Projection
Big visuals can mean two very different things technically, an LED video wall or a projector, and picking the right one for your room matters more than most people realize. We carry both, and we size the choice to your venue, your budget, and what the space actually allows, instead of defaulting to whichever is easier for us to load in.
Here's what goes into our video wall and projection services.
Video Walls vs. Projection: The Real Difference
An LED video wall generates its own light, panel by panel, which means it stays bright, sharp, and fully visible no matter how much ambient light is in the room, daylight through windows, stage lighting, a bright ballroom. A projector needs a controlled, dark environment and a screen to bounce light off of, which makes it a poor fit for daytime events or rooms you can't fully darken. Projection is faster to set up and more budget-friendly for the right setting. Video walls cost more and take more infrastructure, but they solve problems projection simply can't. We help clients figure out which one actually fits their event instead of upselling the more expensive option by default.
Modular, Customizable Configurations
LED video walls are built from individual panels, which means the final shape doesn't have to be a plain rectangle. We can configure a wall to match a stage design exactly: wide and low for a head table backdrop, tall and narrow for a column, curved to wrap around a stage, or broken into multiple separate screens showing different content at once. If a single panel ever has an issue, we can swap it without tearing down the whole wall.
Creative Design & Branding Integration
A video wall is a canvas, not just a screen, and we treat it that way. Our design team works with your branding, colors, and event theme to build content and layouts that feel custom to your event instead of a generic slideshow. That includes integrating live camera feeds, social content, sponsor recognition, or real-time information alongside your core content, all on the same display.
Indoor Video Wall Inventory
For indoor events, ballrooms, conference rooms, galas, and general sessions, we carry fine pixel pitch panels built for close viewing distances, where attendees are seated just feet from the screen and need sharp, clean text and imagery. These panels are optimized for controlled lighting and shorter viewing distances rather than raw outdoor brightness.
Outdoor & Weatherproof Video Wall Inventory
For festivals, rallies, and outdoor stages, we carry weatherproof, IP-rated LED panels built to handle rain, dust, and temperature swings, with the high brightness needed to stay fully visible in direct daylight. These panels are built for longer viewing distances and larger crowds, where a slightly wider pixel pitch still reads perfectly clear from fifty or a hundred feet back.
Projectors & Screens
For the right room, projection is still the better call, budget-friendly, fast to set up, and capable of a genuinely cinematic look on a large screen. We carry compact projectors for small conference rooms, mid-range units for medium venues, and large-scale, high-lumen projectors for big stages and screenings, along with the professional screens to match.
Indoor and outdoor LED
Prime AV rents indoor and outdoor LED video walls for events across Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland, from fine pitch panels for close viewing to high brightness screens built to stay readable in daylight. Tell us the venue and what goes on the screen, and we will spec the pitch and size for you.
Curved LED walls
For stages that call for a wraparound look, we also build curved LED walls, shaping the panels around your set or the room so the screen follows your design instead of sitting flat. A curved LED wall works indoors for general sessions, product reveals, and branded backdrops where a flat screen would feel static, and outdoors when the shape of the space calls for it.

How do I know if I need an LED wall vs. projection?+
It comes down to your room's ambient light. LED walls stay bright and sharp regardless of daylight or stage lighting; projection needs a controlled, dark environment. We'll help you figure out which one actually fits your event instead of upselling the more expensive option by default.
Can you build a custom-shaped video wall for our stage?+
Yes, LED walls are built from individual panels, so we can configure a wall wide and low, tall and narrow, curved, or broken into multiple screens to match your stage design exactly.
Do you carry weatherproof panels for outdoor events?+
Yes, our outdoor inventory is IP-rated and built to handle rain, dust, and temperature swings while staying visible in direct daylight.
