Conventions & Trade Shows

A convention runs on one unmovable, expensive constraint: three or four days of venue space, paid for whether the AV works or not. Whether that space holds a national cultural convention with thousands of attendees or a trade show floor with a hundred booths, day three has to perform like day one.

We build our convention production services around the whole event, general sessions, cultural performances, banquet nights, breakouts and the exhibit floor, because that is what a multi-day convention actually needs.

How we cover it

From national cultural conventions to regional trade shows, this is what we bring across every day of the run.

Multi-Day Convention

A multi-day convention has to perform the same way on day three as it did on day one. We handle the full production across the run of the show, the audio, the lighting, and the video walls, so every session stays sharp from load-in to load-out.

That means sound that carries clearly through general sessions and breakouts, lighting that keeps the stage and every speaker looking right on camera, and LED video walls sized so the whole room can follow along, all run and reset by one team, day after day.

LED Video Walls & Digital Signage

The entrance wall, the wayfinding screens, the sponsor recognition loops, these are what set the tone for the entire show before anyone even reaches the floor.

We build LED walls and digital signage that stay bright and legible under normal convention center lighting, sized to fit anything from a registration area to a full general session backdrop.

General Session & Keynote Production

Most conventions have one moment where the majority of attendees are in the same room at the same time, and that keynote or general session gets a different level of production than the booth floor.

We bring full stage AV for it: sound built for a large room, lighting that keeps the speaker sharp on camera, and IMAG so people in the back rows see the same thing as the people up front.

Custom Booth Staging & Fabrication

A generic pipe-and-drape booth blends into a hundred others just like it. We design and build custom staging and fabricated set pieces in-house, from branded backdrops and truss structures to full custom booth builds.

That means faster turnarounds and a booth that actually looks like it belongs to your exhibitor's brand instead of the rental catalog.

05

WiFi & Internet Solutions for the Show Floor

Convention center WiFi is rarely built for what a modern trade show floor demands: hundreds of exhibitors running demos, badge scanners, and streaming devices all at once.

We deploy our own network across the entire floor rather than relying on the venue's package, with a fiber optic backbone as the primary connection backed by Starlink and 5G for redundancy.

06

Power Distribution for Exhibitor Booths

Every booth needs power, and most convention floors don't have anywhere near enough native capacity for that many exhibitors at once.

We plan power distribution across the whole floor as part of the production, with safe cable runs to each booth and enough capacity that no one's demo goes dark because a neighboring booth overloaded a shared circuit.

07

Event & Production Management

All of this runs through a dedicated production manager who owns the show from load-in through load-out, building a plan covering booth setup schedules, general session timing, and load-in logistics.

On-site, our production assistants troubleshoot booth AV, coordinate power and connectivity requests, and keep the general session on schedule, so you get to run your show and support your exhibitors instead of chasing cable runs.

Cultural Conventions

Cultural Conventions & Community Events

Indian, Pakistani & South Asian Conventions

Some of the largest conventions on the East Coast are cultural. Indian, Pakistani and South Asian communities gather by the thousands for multi-day national conventions that combine general sessions, concerts, cultural performances, pageants, youth programs and banquet nights, often running in parallel across multiple halls.

These programs move fast and run long, and the production has to keep up in every hall, on every day of the run.

JAINA, AKKA 2024 and AKKA 2026

This is work we know firsthand. We produced the JAINA Convention in Chicago and AKKA 2024 in Richmond, and we are the production team behind AKKA 2026, the Silver Jubilee World Kannada Conference in Philadelphia.

Thousands of attendees, multiple stages, headline artists and dignitaries, and a schedule that runs from morning general sessions to late-night concerts. That is the shape of the work we plan for.

Concert-Grade Production, Convention Discipline

A cultural convention asks more of AV than a typical corporate program: concert-grade sound and lighting for headline artists, video walls that carry performance detail to the back of the hall, and live streaming for audiences overseas.

Our crews reset a hall from a morning general session to an evening gala without missing the schedule, and we plan and run all of it as one team, day after day.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you handle both a general session and individual booth AV?+

Yes, we regularly run both on the same show floor: keynote and general session production, plus AV and staging for individual exhibitor booths, coordinated by one team.

Do you provide WiFi for the show floor?+

Yes, we design WiFi and internet solutions specifically for show floor conditions, where dozens of exhibitors and attendees are competing for bandwidth in the same space.

How do you coordinate with venue-in-house AV teams?+

We work directly with convention center and venue AV staff on load-in logistics, power, and rigging so your show runs smoothly within their building requirements.

Do you produce Indian, Pakistani and South Asian cultural conventions?+

Yes. We produced the JAINA Convention in Chicago and AKKA 2024 in Richmond, and we are producing AKKA 2026 in Philadelphia. We understand the pace of multi-day cultural programs, from morning general sessions to concert and banquet nights.

Can you handle concerts and cultural performances inside a convention?+

Yes. Concert-grade sound, stage lighting and video walls are part of our convention production, so headline artists and cultural performances get the same treatment as a standalone concert.

Do you travel outside the DC area for conventions?+

Yes. Our home base covers DC, Virginia and Maryland, and we take conventions across the East Coast and beyond, including Chicago, Richmond and Philadelphia.
