Renting audio, video, lighting, and staging should be the easy part of an event. You tell someone what you need, it shows up working, and it goes home when you are done. That is how we run AV equipment rentals at Prime AV, across Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland.
We own our inventory and use our own crew, so the gear is tested before it leaves the warehouse and there is a real person behind it if something needs attention on site. You can pick it up yourself or have us deliver and set it up.
We rent to businesses and to individuals
Most rental houses pick a lane. We work both. On the business side, we support agencies, event planners, venues, and in-house corporate AV teams who need to add screens, sound, lighting, or staging for a specific show. On the individual side, we help people renting for a wedding, a milestone party, a memorial, or a backyard event who just want the right gear and a straight answer on how to use it.
The catalog is the same either way: screens and projection, TVs, lighting, microphones, speakers, laptops and iPads, tradeshow gear, draping, staging, backline, power, and dance floors. You can build a rental list in a couple of minutes and we send an itemized quote, usually the same day.
We can be part of your own team
Here is the part most people do not expect. When you rent from us, we can show up with no Prime AV branding at all. No logos on the shirts, no name on the cases that face the room, nothing that says the work was handed off. To your client or your audience, our crew is your crew.
That flexibility matters most for other companies. If you are a production company, an agency, or a venue that just landed a job slightly bigger than your current gear or headcount, you can rent the equipment and, if you want, the hands to run it, and still deliver the whole thing under your own name. We bill you, not your client, and we stay in the background. It is the same idea behind our venue and partner work: make you look good, then get out of the way.
This is a model we have run for years
Unbranded rentals and embedded crew are not a new experiment for us. We have done it for planners, agencies, and venues for years, on real shows with real deadlines, and it holds up under pressure. The equipment is maintained on a schedule, the crew has worked rooms like yours before, and the plan accounts for the thing that goes sideways, because on live events something usually does.
Delivery, setup, or a straight pickup
Choose delivery with professional setup and our technicians install and test everything, or pick it up and return it yourself, whichever fits your budget and your comfort level. Either way, a Certificate of Insurance is required on all rentals, and we send the exact requirements with your quote so there are no surprises the week of the event.
If you are not sure what you need, tell us the room, the audience size, and what the event has to accomplish, and our AV team will spec it. We would rather send you the right sound, lighting, and video wall package than a longer invoice.
The best compliment we get on a white-label job is silence. Nobody at the event knows we were there, which means it worked and you got the credit.
How to get a rental quote
Start on the rentals page, add the items you need, and tell us your dates and where the event is. We reply with an itemized quote, usually the same day, and no payment is required to ask. For corporate and multi-vendor shows, the same team also handles full meetings and conferences production if you would rather hand off the whole event.
Need gear, a crew, or both, under your name?
Tell us what the event needs and we will quote it, branded as you or not branded at all.
